Kinsol Trestle
The Kinsol Trestle, also known as the Koksilah River Trestle, was completed in 1920 and completely restored and opened as a walking bike/bike path as part of the Cowichan Trial in 2011. It was origianally a wooden railway trestle and is located on just north of Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island, BC. As one of the highest wooden trestles of its kind in the world, it provides a spectacular crossing of the Koksilah River.
